Southern Tier Logistics operates a major logistics warehouse and distribution facility in New York. It presently operates a 408,000 square foot facility in Erwin, and a 200,000 square foot facility in Elmira. In addition to providing warehouse and distribution services, Southern Tier Logistics provides customers with logistics in New York and throughout the country as well as shipping and transportation, and a document storage and destruction service. John A. Armstrong is the General Manager.

Southern Tier is a member of the Ohio Logistics family of companies. Ohio Logistics is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, and is one of the largest privately held logistics firms in the Mid-west. It currently operates 17 warehouse sites in seven states with over 6 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space. It has eight sites in Ohio, three in New York, two in Pennsylvania, and one each in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.

Ohio Logistics operates Foreign Trade Zone #151 in Ohio. It also has its own trucking subsidiary, Ohio Logistics Transportation Group, and a document storage and destruction company, Document Services Company.

New York State Route 17/Southern Tier Expressway, a limited access four-lane, toll-free highway, is within a five-minute drive of Southern Tier Logistics.

Within three hours are Interstates 80, 81, 84, 87 88, 95 and the New Jersey Garden State Parkway and turnpike, as well as the New York State Thruway.

More than 30 trucking lines serve the center.

The Elmira-Corning Regional Airport (ECRA), with excellent passenger and freight services, is only minutes away.
